I have a short fuse when it comes to things that make me want to whack somebody . . .
Here are the top few in no particular order:
Parents ignoring SCREAMING children in public places that one expects quiet (such as the movie theatre or library).
Stupidity -- not the kind that happens on accident or from a true lack of learning, but the kind that you see preformed by somebody who really ought to know better
Stating the Obvious -- enough said. ( Did you get the pun there?)

1) People would have to imply in any way, shape or form that I am OLD. I will be old only when I decide to be. Period.
2) People on the telephone who think I am very YOUNG. (I have a squeaky voice like Baby Snooks aka Fanny Brice.) One more "Oooh! We both must have grown up with Sesame Street" type of comment and pow! (j/k...I really find it all rather amusing!)

When they keep talking and talking and won't listen and then keep talking and talking about how I don't listen. I figure if I whack them on the head, I may find the pause button.

People with annoyingly high pitched voices who never stop talking and think the the world revolves around them....OMG I could smack them...with a brick that is...

The light turns green, they keep chatting...if they move at all, it's slowly...... it's a good thing I don't have a gun in the car most of the time!

Librarians who answer simple questions with replies that clearly indicate they weren't even paying attention. Books by Stephen Crane? "Oh,cranes,yes,that would be 4th floor,engineering."
