Me and my girlfriend haven't seen the first two Bourne movies, but want to see this third one. Will we be able to understand this? Would you recommend this film to two people who have no knowledge of the first two?

it's kinda hard to say, while the movie does give a basic overview of the past two movies some of the characterization would be lost on you. Your best option is to go rent the first two movies because they are great or maybe just read a brief synopsis of them on-line.
Either way Bourne Ultimatum is a very good movie.

I saw the Bourne Ultimatum and I didn't see the first two before that. i thought it was really good! I understood it!

You should because they recap enough but I think you would like the other Bourne movies if you ever want to see them.

Yes I would, there are flashbacks and recaps which give you insights into what the first 2 movies were about. It is an awesome movie

I would advise you to watch the first two movies. you might be able to understand what's going on, but wouldn't it be so much easier if you came into it understanding already.

yep, i only saw the last one and i understood everything...it was quite entertaining
