Yes
Political Correctness is the Incubator of Islamism
by Amil Imani
14 Feb, 2007
Time and again we are told by the politically correct “experts” not to worry about Islam posing a threat to our way of life. We are repeatedly lectured that only a very small minority of Muslims are troublemakers who are giving the peaceful masses of Muslims a bad name. We are also informed that the terrorists, who happened to be Muslims, are the disaffected and the young. And not to worry, since as the fire of youth turns to ashes of old age the rebellious will mellow, as they always have.
With heavy assurances like this, coming from so many know-it-all authoritative figures, we can sleep soundly without the aid of sleeping pills. After all, people reason that these pundits are “experts” whose job is to know and tell it like it is. Those who voice contrary views must be a bunch of racist, alarmist hate mongers. Who is right?
Wouldn’t be more prudent to let the facts settle the matter, rather than blindly accepting either position? Of course it would, except for one huge problem. In the face of threats, people tend to go to the mind’s medicine cabinet and take a few denial and rationalization pills, in the same way that it is the aspirin bottle they turn to when a headache strikes. Why not? We are the Easy Species. We love effortless, quick and simple solutions. And that’s not invariably bad. It has given us all kinds of labor and time saving devices.
Yet, the Islam problem is very real and deadly. Neither the pronouncements of the experts, nor the tranquilizing pills of the mind can make it go away. It is here and it shows every sign of imposing itself on us.
Europe is already badly infected with Islamism. It is the coal-miners’ canary. It is telling us that the next stop is America. We must act and act now. We must not sacrifice our cherished way of life and the lives of our children at the altar of political correctness: the incubator of Islamofascism.

Radical Muslims don't represent Islam any more than Most Republicans represent Christianity. So, to speak out against Republicans or radical Islamists is important to do, but it's also important to distinguish these groups from the religions they pretend to represent. Both groups are frauds.

Only if you are a hypocrit. Both are religions.
Edit:
"I'm sick of asking questions here because of some of the disgusting answers I get so maybe one of you will have the fortitude to ask this:
Is there even one religion that anyone can point to that has not been at the source of some vile murderous activity at some time in it's history?"
From my understanding, Wicca and most other religion's about everything interrelated aren't agressive. They have been slaughtered in the past though, surpressed. Remember the Salem witch trials?

Maybe it's just me but I think it is the complete opposite. Christianity is always on the front line for harsh criticism. You can read just about any news service about what happens to the few leaders of the Islam religion who dare to criticize the extremist views, Look what happened in Europe when the "cartoons" were published, to the documentary Van Gogh {sp?} because he made a documentary about the Muslim religion.

Speak out harshly against any religion that perverts the original intent.
Be it radical Islam or "Christian" conservatism

The reason that people get mad about Christianity is because in America the extreme Christians are trying to push their religion into government and on U.S. citizens when this country was based upon freedom of religion without having to have others religions pushed upon you by the government. The reason people get mad about Islam is because the extremists from that religion either are terrorists and or pr emote terrorism. What is not okay is generalizing this to all Muslims. Muslims are constantly attack by other people because the extremists make it look like all Muslims are terrorists. We have to be aware of how we treat Muslims who are not extremists because we should not wrongly accuse others of things especially murder. Muslims are also very silent in this country because they afraid that people hate them. We also should be aware that all Christians do not want to press their values on everyone else. I would say it would be okay to speak out against Christian who want to push their religion upon everyone else and Muslims who are terrorists but not Islam and Christianity in themselves.
