When I reboot my e-machines, Win XP, it starts to install windows. It asks for the 25 digit key code.?

Question

I reboot about once a week.
I cancel the procedure when it attempts to install windows.
I ran msconfig but I don't know what start up procedure is being called here, or if this is even the place to look.
