I love baby shower games. You can do an online search and come up with some premade sheets of games. Here is a link: http://www.babyshowercentral.com/
Here are some examples that I can think of:
Baby Word Scramble: make a list of 20 words all scrambled up, whoever finishes first wins or whoever gets the most right in 2 minutes wins
Birth the Baby: by miniature babies and freeze them in ice, players have to get the baby out of the ice anyway without biting it... you can make your own rules like it has to be in your mouth, or you can not leave your seat (one girl ran it under the faucet to get it out).
Taste the baby food, person who gets the most right wins
Draw the baby: put a paper plate on the guests head and they have to draw a baby, the mom to be has to vote on the best one... that person wins
Memory Game: have a tray of baby items and take it around to show all the guests, they have to remember what is on it. the person with the most items listed wins... variation: show the tray but then have the mom leave the room and they have to right down what the mom to be was wearing
Baby Bottle Race: fill baby bottles with water or juice and have guests race to finish, the first one done wins
Baby Stats: have players guess things like baby's sex, weight, length, birthdate, time of birth and the winner will get a special prize after the baby is born
Parenting Advice Book: have a notebook for guests to write down advice for the mother to be, things no one ever told you about having a baby
As for food, it kind of depends what time you are having the baby shower. If its between meals just do small snacks. If its during lunch or dinner time then you might want to do like sub sandwiches and appetizers. Things like lil smokies, baked beans, pasta salad, etc etc. The last shower I went to had chocolate covered cherries, bacon wrapped lil smokies covered with brown sugar, and a cream cheese dip with wheat thins.
Good luck with planning, have fun, congrats to the mom to be.

We always do Baby Bag Bingo. Guests are given blank bingo cards and they fill in the boxes with things that go in a diaper bag, and as the mom to be unwraps those items, they mark them off on their card. First one to fill a line calls BINGO and gets a small prize. Center square should be the diaper bag.
As far as what to serve - depends on the time of day. If it's an 11am to 1pm shower, for example, get a tray of sandwiches, a couple of salads, maybe a hot dish (like baked ziti) and call it lunch. If it starts at 2pm, then do some hors d'ouvres - any kind of non-messy (i.e. buffalo wings would be messy) snack items. Either way, have a cake, maybe some small cookies, and a fruit platter or fruit salad.

LoL you sound a little stressed. But anyways there is a game where you buy all kinds of candy bars and place them on a diaper and then everyone has to guess what they are. And you can have the how many things are in this jar game. And you can also print out baby shower word puzzles. And for food just little snacks like fruit platter and veggies and other little appetizers.

I remember one game we played at my wife's baby shower. They took baby food jars (some tasting good, others not so good), removed the labels and had people taste them and try to guess the flavor. If they got it right, they got some sort of small prize.
We had all kinds of stuff to eat. We had sherbert punch, a tray with crackers and sausage, I think maybe some deviled eggs... just different hor'orderves. Kinda like you're having a party :) We also had a cake shaped like a baby booty..

I would serve something easy, veggies, finger sandwiches, nothing too big and for games, there are tons. Baby BINGO, there is a game where you put tiny safety pins in a bowl of rice, blindfold the person and have her try to pick out the pins, whomever picks the most wins. Also you can use either toilet paper or yarn and go around asking guests to cut a piece but don't say what for and whomever gets the piece that goes around the belly of the pregnant one wins. Also another fave of mine, take the pregnant woman out of the room, hand out paper and pens to everyone and ask them to write down EXACTLY what she was wearing - it's amazing to see how many people have no clue :)

at my baby shower we did a game where you name all the baby animals you could think of- for example calf. we also did the baby bottle game where everyone is given a bottle and the first one done wins- it sure makes you apreciate what babies go through- it was a lot harder than it looks

you could make up a quiz on the mom or the dad and see who answers the most questions correctly. like for example: what is mommy to be's favorite food? What is daddy to be's favorite sports team? Etc....
Also you could have all the guests try to guess how big around the mommy's belly is. give them some yarn and have them cut a piece and fit it around mommy's belly. whoever is closest wins a prize. its fun to see how big or how small people cut their yarn.
