On yahoo answers, Click on edit my profile at that would be by or under your name and then change it. P.S save your changes. To get rid of the rainbow go to your yahoo page click on your avatar and hook'em up with a better background.
Al of that menas that I think you should change it. Not because I think it is gay but because i would never pick that background. Good luck
