Argos are amazing, they'll accept anything back, they really dont care! They just send it back to the manufacturer and get a refund so they happily do it for anyone with or without a reciept. Without a reciept they will offer you a replacement or vouchers. If they try to say no, stand your ground ask to see the manager as its a faulty item and that the very least you want is a replacement. Mostly its kids working after school so they dont care what they refund honestly! One of the many reasons Argos has its own special place in my heart! lol

You need some proof of purchase showing date and where purchases. Receipt, credit card slip, statement should do. Since it is more that 6 months old they possibly will not replace, but will send off for repair. Something like a mobile they will be looking for non warranty damage. Generally Argos are quite good on claims

Unfortunately No,They would replace it or give your money back within 16 days of buying it if you keep the receipt. After that it will be covered by the 12 month manufacturers warranty and you will have to return it to them for repair or replacement.

well....my shaver broke..I lost the recipet..so I went to argos and told them......they gave me a new one!!! WITHOUT a receipt!!!...Argos are acutally a really good company for taking things back. You might as well go and ask and try to see what they can say..and u never know they might be a friendly as the people in the argos I went too.

you may be lucky if the box has their catalogue code on it as long as its a replacement you want not a refund if you paid by credit/debit card take a bank statement its "proof of purchase" you need this does not necessarily have to be a receipt

very doubtful, im not sure if they would deal with a replacment after this long anyway, you might have to rely on your years guarentee, but even then they sometimes request a proof of purchase. Best thing to do is call your network operator and they might be able to sort the problem out for you.
