hi i am 39weeks+3days pregnant i think i had lost my mucus plug this morning what do u think?
what happened was i was having a shower then i felt like i was dribbling and when i looked down there was a biggish clump of discharge there sort of white colour i dont think there was any blood cause i only seen that cause like i says i was in a shower.i know its not a sti or that because i have had a full vigirina examation and everything came back fine. also i did not have sex recently so i know it couldnt of been from sex!
what do u think?
also is it normal for ur bikini line area 2 look puffy when ur baby is head is down?

That sounds like your mucus plug! I remember my mucus plug looking like what your described! I do remember my mucus plug coming out a little at a time for a couple of days. My water broke (trickle) a week later, and baby was born the next day by induction.
You've probably felt your baby drop (lightening). The lightening is an indication that babe's head is dropping into your pelvis. I recall that my bikini area was "puffy" before I felt the lightening.
What "station" did your doctor say you were? I was at station -2 when my mucus plug came out.
What a special time for you!!! I want to be pregnant again so that I could relive the whole experience of giving birth to my baby!! I look back on that day with fondness, even though things did NOT turn out exactly the way I wanted them to (induction, c-section, epidural...) Enjoy the coming weeks!

It sounds like your plug to me especially if it was a clump. As far as the bikini line getting puffy, I thought that was from the increased blood flow to the area, but I may be wrong. Good luck!

yes it sounds like you have lost your plug,it happened to me and when i went to the hopsital they sent me home and said it could be a while before anything happens.if you start to feel you are going into labour then start to time your pains,im sure you know how ot works good luck with your birth and congtatulations

im 30 weeks , doesnt sound like it , just sounds like discharge but make sure to get checked ,if it was your plug it could the baby in danger . yes its normal for your bikin area to be puffy mine is also.
