I used 70% & 92% isopropyl rubbing alcohol and all it did was create more breakouts for me. I have yet to find something that actually works.

Well i've tried it before and it doesnt really get rid of acne, it just drys it up and irritates the skin. Rubbing alcohol isnt really a good idea for getting rid of acne because it strips the top layer of the skin and that causes your oil glands to produce more oil just so there's a balance. With more oil being produced, more blemishes will appear and your skin will be more dry and red. Its much better to stay away from acne fighting products that have alcohol as their main ingredient. I'm currently using Proactive and its the best product I've used compared to the countless products I've spent my money on.

Should work. Acne is caused by oily skin clogging the pores. Alcohol will dry out the skin making it less oily. that means no more clogged pores or acne. I don't know if you want to put straight rubbing alcohol, maybe some product that is part rubbing alcohol

It worked for me. Well actually it only got rid of the little bumps on my face, not so much the pimples. I used rubbing alcohol.

I would think that rubbing alcohol would work, but it might dry out your face because it's so strong, so use a good moisturizer also.

Good Luck! Hope it works!

no like the alcohol you drink, but use rubbing alcohol. if you look on the labels of most of the face cleaners that's the main ingredient. so it has to work.
