Circumcised is the only way to go...and it is better for the male...its just to hard for them to keep themselves clean, and that can led
to infection...

I agree with you completely! Either make them both legal, or both illegal. It would be very interesting in seeing how something like that were to go through the court system. I don't have an issue with adult males being circumcised at their own will; we pierce, tattoo, pickle our bodies all the time- why should this be different? As long as my premiums for universal healthcare don't pay for it, I couldn't care less. It's with infants i have a problem with. It's his damn body! The "looks better", "matches the father", "easier to clean" "safer from STDs" is all crap: Looks better: Like you said, that's subject to opinion. Matches the father: OH GREAT! The father was beaten with a belt as a child too! Wanna have your son re-live THAT pain too? Easier to clean: Bugger off. Get off you lazy a$$ and clean your kid! And teach him good hygiene when he's old enough. It wasn't hard for me to grasp. Safer: If there is apparently no undisputed scientific fact out there that proves I didn't choose to be gay, I refuse to believe that there's undisputed scientific proof that says that cut men are more resilient to STDs. Now on to religion: My best friend is jewish and is quite proud of his cut penis. In fact it's sometimes part of his opening line when he meet's someone new. My friend has always been sensitive about his religion (even though he's reform and basically non-practicing) to the point where if you don't agree with any certain part of his religion, he gets defensive. I used to say that it was fine to do it for religious reasons, but then I thought... wait. There are other religions and cultures that require female circumcisions- those cultures exist here in Canada and the US, yet FGM is illegal. So what's with the double standard? Don't compare the severity; they're both barbaric unnecessary operations- WHAT IS THE DIFFERENCE? The same friend's girlfriend plans on having her kids cut. Why? "It's cleaner. Oh he won't remember it." This girl is a HUGE hypocrite. Why? She's pro-life to the highest degree- to almost the level of Palin's pro-life stance. Ok.. Child's rights, bla bla bla... Now what about when the child is born? Where are his rights then? With all due respect to everyone who practices a faith of some kind, I say to hell with religious, traditional, or cultural reasons. Outlaw infant circumcision for BOTH genders or make both legal.

I long for the day when baby girls routinely have their labia and clitoris cut away soon after birth. Well, fair is fair. If boys can be mutilated and their sex lives affected forever and without their consent, why not girls?

Intact penises should be cleaned daily - just as circumcised penises should be cleaned. Then there is NO problem!

And the stupid woman who says that boys should be circumcised so that their penises look better when they are old men? Whaaat? An old woman's labia looks like a badly packed kebab! Hack them out when the girl is a baby, why don't you!

And you stupid women that insist that a penis should be circumcised 'cos it 'looks better'? Whaaaat? It's not a fashion show! Airheads!

And for those of you that go 'ew!' at the thought of a foreskin, when most intact penises are erect, the foreskin slides back and LOOKS like a circumcised one anyway!

The foreskin is designed for better motion during sex as it glides back and forth better - and less lubricant is required, if any at all.

If pig-thick women would only read and investigate the reason for a foreskin, they would never consider mutilating their son without the child's consent and boys would thank them when they are older.

Its an unneccessary, brutal and potentially lethal operation. Noone has ever died from having a foreskin - but many babies die or are mutilated via botched circumcisions every year. It's not worth the risk!

Wake up people!

Uncircumcised and I'm so glad. I much prefer uncircumcised penises... I love his foreskin, it is such fun to play with and gives him so much pleasure. I have had circumcised boyfriends, though living in the UK they have mainly been uncircumcised... I find circumcised ones a great disappointment really, I feel a bit robbed. They look much better in their natural state too. Circumcised ones look so strange, and it is so odd the way circumcised men masturbate, it isn't natural....

Boyfriend uncircumcised. It is very rare here in Australia. Firstly I wouldn't mind if I liked the guy but yes I really like him being uncircumcised. I love how it's natural and how the skin slides. I hope he stays like that for ever and that all my future boyfriends aren't circumcised.

My husband is.
As concerning a grown man, I do not know the difference, so I cannot offer an opinion.
My son is not, as I do not believe his genitals are mine to cut apart. (He can make his own decision later in life, if he so chooses.)

No he's not. Yes I'm glad he isn't. He's glad he isn't. It makes it much easier when we have a child, we both agree we would never mutilate our son!

Every guy I've been with has been and I'm fine with it.

I know that my parents made the decision not to circumcise my younger brother. He's the only guy I know that's not...and it's grossing me out thinking about it!

my man is circumcised.... I used to think that it was horrible to do such a thing BUTTTTT... now that I work in a nursing home..I think its better for all baby boys to be circumcised.. there is nothing worse than an old man whose penis is swollen and red because the foreskin cant be pulled back...
