The theme song "Take Me Out To The Ballgame" played? The beer ads were Hamm's beer (from the land of sky blue waters), Black Label (hey Mabel, Black Label), and Pabst's Blue Ribbon beer? I knew the words to all those jingles!

Yes, I do remember those days. I liked the commercial for Black Label beer. (the lady in the commercial gave a wink)I wish they'd bring the tradition back of singing "Take Me Out To The Ball Game" before the games began. I too knew all of the words to the beer commercials too. ~lol~

I remember that when I was young, all we got to see were the CBS Saturday afternoon games, with Dizzy Dean and Pee Wee Reese (not Herman). I remember that it was the New York Yankees almost every week, and seeing MY team (the SF Giants) once or twice a year. I remember that my parents were appalled by Dizzy's grammar and accent. But it was all we had. Then again, we were also able to play games in the park without insurance waivers. The future giveth, the future taketh away.

We had Falstaff beer commercials playing during our local games in the San Francisco Bay Area. There was a brewery, here, in San Jose.

I remember Willie Mays, Felipe Alou, Juan Marachel and others.

Message to "shortstuff": They still play and sing "Take Me Out to the Ball Game." Only now, they play it during the 7th inning stretch.

I will never forget the Black Label Beer commercials. My Husband, his brothers, my brothers, and this guy from work would sing that stupid jingle to me all the time. They drove me nuts! LOL

"In the Land of Clear Blue Waters." The dancing pack of cigarettes. "Soup sandwich , soup and sandwich go's together like horse and carriage any time or weather soup and sandwich go's together." N.E.S.T.L.E.S. nestles makes the very best chocolate." It was sung by a singing dog.

PS. I thought I was typing out the next line to the Hamm's beer song. I wasn't trying to correct you.
