How Can i select more than 1 picture to open up in the GIMP?

You're probably in the wrong section... but I think I can help you out.

First, open up the very first picture. A new window should pop up, displaying that picture. In that new window go File> Open as Layer. From there you can select an image, and it will add it to your current image as another layer.

If you want to add a bunch of images as layers at one time, go back to File > Open as Layer, and choose all the images you want while holding CTRL. Then simply hit open, and it will add all of them.
