I have heard people talking about a troll on yahoo and saying we should find them and ban them what are trolls?

Mostly it refers to posting pseudo questions that are really statements,and statements designed to offend and disrupt. Almost all the atheists on R&S are trolls. It can also refer to continually posting derogatory comments on someone's questions. It's a bad trip and they are usually angry,frustrated people.

Trolls are posts / questions meant only to get people to make snap emotional answers.
The troller just wants to get quick attention.
You'll know them when you see them

trolls are @ssholes who like to say things to inflame people. they instigate and make rude remarks to get a rise out of people.

i havent the foggiest but something about people who look for question violators or something like that im not sure but if im wrong im sure they will find me and hang me from the gallows
