No, because the Amityville story was debunked as a hoax a long time ago.

The Amityville house itsself is creepy, and to tell you the truth no one will ever know what really happened in that house. There may have been other expierences but, would you come foward after all the crap the Lutz's got from the media?
In reality you would be considered nothing but, a copy cat if you came out and said these things are still going on, also your mind set has a lot to do with whether anything can get into your thoughts.
in reality the only people who know what happened are the people that lived there.
Heres and interview with Lutz before the remake of Amityville came out.

No.The people that lived in the house before them were killed in that house.It had not been haunted.Except,it was built on top of an indian burial site if rumors are true.

It was a hoax that they conjured up while drinking too much wine one night. True story...nothin' too strange about that :)
