If you can find solid statistics on this, that would be better than advice.

Only rare for the women you've been with

It doesn't have to be rare, because any couple in a long-term relationship can "train" themselves to have simultaneous orgasms if they put a little effort into it. However, I have found that it's not really that big of a deal. Sure, it's fun to be able to accomplish simultaneous, but the most important thing is that both members of the couple have a great time and end up feeling sexually fulfilled. As a male, I believe that the most efficient way to accomplish this is to follow this simple rule: make the woman orgasm first! Face it, the man is going to get his, one way or the other. By focusing on his woman's pleasure first, both are all but guaranteed to end up having had at least one orgasm each by the time they're done for the evening.

Simultaneous climaxes are not rare, but the timing does take familiarity. It is possible for "strangers" to manage it the first time but remember, sex is mostly mental and to have that really great mental unity takes a bit of time. The couple really need to know and understand each other. With some this can happen immediately. With others it takes time. Some couples never achieve it. As I say, most of this is mental.

Its a little harder at first when you get together but me and my wife normally orgasm at the same time and have had for the last 4 years of our relationship. I think it has more to do with I can feel when she is close so I relax more and let mine go. She had never had a orgasm at the same time before and loved it and now it happens all the time.

I have never climaxed with my partner! I would love to, but don't know how to. I need direct stimulation, and can't get it through just penetration-what's a girl to do?

Not rare. It involves some control on the part of the male.

Not for me and my husband. We've been timing our orgasms for years.

Most of the time its not a conscious thing. If i know he is close to orgasm, I get more turned on and orgasm with him. If he knows I am not close yet and he is close, he holds off until I am ready and then we orgasm together.

The only exceptions are when I get to have more than one or when he just can't wait :)

Not rare. If you're both really into it, and into eachother, it'll happen. Maybe that's the rare part---finding two people who are really into eachother.

not if you are totally in tune with one another, if that's the case you can both get off at the same time and what a wonderful feeling and experience that is
