Well, whats done is done and theres no undoing it now, so it doesn't you much good to worry about it.
That being said, assuming that you do not count on that job to feed yourself or put a roof over your head, I wouldn't consider it to be a big deal. Lots of women choose not to work for at least a few years when they have children.
If you count on that job as your primary or only means of support, then you might have acted rashly. Its always a good idea to have another job lined up before you quit your old one, because you don't know how hard it will be to find another job. Of course, there are still options for you if you cannot find work and need to now. Nothing is the end of the world. This just may be a more difficult, less fun way to go about things.
Good luck!

If your job was physically difficult for you, you did the right thing by quitting. I'm sure your doctor would also agree. However, if you quit because people were talking about you, that may not have been the best choice. Since we spend a better part of our life in employment, it's necessary to be happy with the job in order to do the best work. Many women work while pregnant up until they go into labor. Money is usually the prime consideration in keeping a job, but if you're not happy doing the work, then leave and find something else. Pregnancy has nothing to do with it, unless like I say, you're exerting yourself too much.

Is this Tina? If not, a friend is going through the same thing. If you feel a lot of stress due to your job than you probably did the right thing. Just look for another job with less to worry about. Money is important but I truly think that sanity and being healthy are much more important!

That depends. Are you planning on staying home anyway? if not it may be hard to find another job while pregnant depending on how far along you are. I know we have laws protecting you but it doesn't really matter. I don't imagine you will have near as much trouble finding a job after the baby is born if you are getting close. No one but you knows if you did the right thing, what is done is done.

Honey, if you quit your job due to the stress which is no good for you and your baby, then you did the right thing.
And who cares about what all of those backstabbing people at work thought, now you can relax and enjoy your pregnancy, you and your precious cargo, are going to be a lot more happier now!!!!!
