On May 29, 2005, she announced her engagement to Paris Latsis, a Greek shipping heir; the engagement was called off five months later. Thereafter, she began dating another Greek shipping heir, Stavros Niarchos III, but in May 2006, Hilton publicist Elliot Mintz informed the press Paris and Stavros had broken up. In an attempt to rediscover herself, Hilton imposed a ban on sexual activity for one year starting in July 2006. She told Regis and Kelly: "One-night stands are not for me. I think it's gross when you just give it up. Guys want you more, if you don't just hand it to them on a platter."

* Nicole Richie - On April 20, 2005, amid media reports that their friendship was in trouble, Paris Hilton, who had been friends with Richie since childhood, released a statement saying, "It's no big secret that Nicole and I are no longer friends", and "Nicole knows what she did, and that's all I'm ever going to say about it." A circulating rumor was the story that Richie had shown Hilton's sex tape at a party; though Richie has denied this. Richie, however, said "There's nothing that really happened, we've just grown apart."
In October 2006, Richie and Hilton reportedly reconciled their friendship.

Mrs Beckham, she is uber false and dangerously thin!!! The celeb mags have her down as being a vegan - you don't loose THAT much weight by being a vegan. What fascinates me is how come she is still friends with Gordon 'I hate Vegetarians' Ramsay and is a vegan also if you were a vegan you would not let said 'chef' graze his future dinners on your land would you ?
