Somehow Soap Opera is getting boring to me.

What can they do to get high ratings?

I alreadly listed 10 things...

1. End homosexual

2. Stop having interracial relationship

3. Make marriage longer and more serious

4. Stop having characters sleeping around

5. Pay less to Stars of the show and bring more characters (actors)

6. Stop incest

7. Bring back Christian value and other religion

8. Bring back the actors who made Soap Opera interesting in the first place

9. Have nice dating (to see how they develop relationship) want to feel the chemistry and romance

10. Why not have *The Next Soap Opera Star* game.... we can vote and the winner be on soap.

Soaps aren't dead. Sounds like you need to get an interest in something else. I don't see them changing.

The 10 items you listed are the reasons people DO watch soap operas. The producers of these shows don't care about the issues, only ratings. And they know what gets ratings: The items you listed.

I find them boring, too and haven't watched them since I was in my 20s. But evidently enough people do to keep the shows making money and bringing in the ratings.

Maybe they need some Christian soap operas? But, really...the whole idea of a soap opera is to show the drama around people who mis-behave.

I watch All My Children and LOVE IT. Granted, I am sick of Zendell... Oh well. Ava is annoying too. I would like to see one marriage that lasts with no infidelity though - every soap should have one normal/stable couple.

the storylines are dragging on and on and on...there are too many young romances on them,,,I don't care about the teenie boppers..
