I was given a Laundry Center with a dryer that turns on, gets hot, but doesnt blow air. I have a feeling that it could be a belt or gear somewhere, but I want to look at a manual before I tear into it.

Do a search on the Model number of your Kenmore Laundry Center.
Sound like a drive belt or motor or coupling. Most dryer blowers are coupled directly to the motor. The coupling could be defective.
