If the petrol car engine work at moderately high speed, while the car is stationary, ( The gearbox is not connected to the crank shaft ) continously for several hours with constant speed (RPM), does it overheat? or any kind of damage would be happen?

They used to have commercials for oil with the scenario you describe. Two engines, one with the good oil and one with another type of oil would run until the one with the bad oil overheated and stopped. So, yes, it could overheat, and yes it could cause damage.

Since you are not getting a lot of air across the radiator, it is possible that it could over heat. That can cause metal fatigue and gasket failure. A lot of that would depend on the condition of your cooling system and how efficient it is. if you notice that it is getting hot, then shut it off and let it cool down, or put a fan in front of the radiator to help move the air.

its not good for the car to be run that way without some sort of load on the engine
