Ok, this is tough. I grew up listening to both starting with "1039..." with Green Day and I started with "Dude Ranch" with Blink.

Today, I would have to say Blink 182 because they haven't completely sold out like Green Day has. The funny thing is I have all of Green Day's albums but not blink. Blink always evolved for the better without getting cheezy in their albums. As Green Day progressed, it seemed as if they were selling out more and more. Sorry GD fans.

Definetly Blink just on their music- but I also worked for lead singer Tom Delong and the dude breaks the mold of the "holier than though" celebrity. Nice guy and his wife is really cool as well.

I saw Green Day play "American Idiot" at a David Letterman show and it blew. Kerry was actually the only other guest and the whole thing was a "Bush Hate" pow wow. I've always found the "hating" really boring. What good does it do but get 1/2 the people defensive and angry. There's got to be a better way

They all seem like cool guys and they have some fun silly songs. I just feel like Green Day is able to be silly and then turn around and be mature and care about what's going on in the world. Blink was serious with Adams Song, but I still think they're in the teenie bopper mind set. Green Day has moved onto really important issues. Don't blast them because you disagree with their viewpoints. Respect them for being able to take on something so important and controversial and come out on top! Yes, I choose Green Day. Plus, they were around first!!

HHmmm tough call but i say green day.
Blink's classic but some of their stuff is just repulsive... the lyrics? I wonder what they were thinking. All the Small things and most of the songs on "dude ranch" are really good, though. I'll admit that.
And I guess (+44) isn't too bad... When your heart stops beating is a really good song. For the most part they sound just like blink though. Kinda sad that the members couldn't reach outside their comfort zone a little... you know?

Still, I take yellowcard over both... less flashy, more musical. Hotter lead singer. Lol :)
