You could go to a local library and get a copy of Krause's "World Coins" for the values of your items. This is a standard reference for world coins and might mention the currency.

Most coins and paper money from France and Germany are very common. Not to say there are not a few rare ones out there. As was already said you need to see a dealer in those items. Since i don't don't know where you live I cannot give you an address of someone near by. They would need to see them. Try the yellow pages or see if your local coin dealer has a copy of World Coin News or look in the ad section of Numismatic News under world coins. I could help with the coins but not the currency. I need to know country, denomination and date.

The best way to find out the value of your coin is to take it to a coin dealer who deals in foreign money (some only handle the US stuff). So much of value depends on the condition of your coin, how many were produced, etc. A dealer would be able to grade your pieces and tell you the value.

i have attended a lot of seminars, read counless books on forex trading and it all cost me thousands of dollars. the worst thing was i blew up my first account. after that i opened another account and the same thing happened again. i started to wonder why i couldn,t make any money in forex trading. at first i thought i knew everything about trading. finally i found that the main problem i have was i did not have the right mental in trading. as we know that psychology has great impact on our trading result. apart from psychology issue, there is another problem that we have to address. they are money management, market analysis, and entry/exit rules. to me money management is important in trading. i opened another account and start to trade profitably after i learnt from my past mistake. i don't trade emotionally anymore.
if you are serious about trading you need to address your weakness and try to fix it. no forex guru can make you Professional trader unless you want to learn from your mistake.
