It's such a downer. There's really nothing that silences a crowd like a walk-off HR.

There's no such thing as a walk off home run by a visiting team because the home team bats last.

How can a player on the visiting team hit a walk off homer. The home team bats last in each inning if they have to the last time I checked. A walk off homer is only possible by the home team.

Walk-off homerun means when the batter touches the plate the game is OVER. This can ONLY happen if the Home team is batting. It silences a crowd cauz everyone leaves the stadium. So what are you talking about?

Well you might mean a home run to put the visitors in the lead but it can't be a walk off homerun since the home team always bats last when the game is tied or they are behind.

Walk-offs only happen in the bottom of an inning, thus a visiting team can't do this. However, I've been to plenty of games where the lead was blown in the last inning. Very depressing.

a walk off homer is impossible by a visiting team because to get a walk off homer you have to be the home team because if the away team hits a go ahead homer then the home team still has a chance to get more runs.

I think you're all falling for his joke here. My guess is that he already knows that a visiting team can't hit a walkoff homer, but just wanted to gauge the reaction of those answering the question.
