SARA: The number one killer of Americans is Obesity. It's preventable and the vicitims are usually killed by heart attacks with no other symptoms and are dead long before they get into the Health Care System. The number one Killer of young people in America is car accidents. Also dead before getting into the system. As a matter of fact, the health care system isn't even on the list of major causes for death. Calm down.

There will be no votes. The government (the same government that most that want universal health care do nothing but whine about) will be deciding who lives and who dies.

Oh, and yes, there will be tax hikes again. The liberals won't be happy until we are at around a 60% tax rate like France.

Begins?

It already exists!

What do you think your HMO is doing when they decide which operations they will pay for and which they won't?

Boy, the medical insurance industry is doing a great job selling the idea that government sponsored health care is evil.

If they were half as good at reducing their profits (and therefore costs) as they are beating the socialized medicine boogieman drum, there wouldn't be a need for "socialized medicine".

Rich people will get to choose. They already get to choose in most cases. Money talks--it's a sad fact, but it is a fact. So when health care gets so expensive that only the rich can afford it, only the rich will have it.
