You really are dense, aren't you? I was trying to make a point - and it just flew right over your heads. LOL.

I've been reading the political section of yahoo answers, for the last hour or so. What I've found over and over again, is liberals who completely miss the point of the question. Here is an example: A question was asked "Will the massacre of the three Newark college kids finally force us to deal with illegal immigration?" More than one liberal answer was - "white people murder people too - so why should we care about illegal immigration?" I mean, C'mon - you've intentionally missed the point of the question, simply because you didn't want to deal with the relevant subject at hand.

wiseone> Thanks for taking the time to answer in a thoughtful way! I see your point there, and I agree that it was a question intended to provoke a certain type of response from liberals.

I would have liked them to show some sort of attention to illegal-immigration; which was the point of the question. The fact that Americans commit murder too is not a valid argument. (The question wasn’t whether murder was better, if committed by an American citizen.)

If those men hadn’t been here illegally , those murders would not have happened. That was the point of the question.

I believe people are entitled to have an opinion of their own. People may not understand you or your reasoning, but that doesn't immediately make them wrong.

Please keep an open mind. People come from all walks of life, and none is exactly the "ideal" one.

☼There is nothing correct about political "correctness".
It's liberals trying to force their form of CENSORSHIP down everyone's throats.
(this is why I'm a •MODERATE•)
I'm my own person & pride myself on not being PC.
Once you go PC, you've given up having your own opinions & now only say what a good lil' zombie is told to.
►The old ways are dead. And you need people around you who concur.
That means hanging out more with the creative people, the freaks, the real visionaries, than you're already doing. Thinking more about what their needs are, and responding accordingly. Avoid the dullards; avoid the folk who play it safe. They can't help you any more. Their stability model no longer offers that much stability. They are extinct, they are extinction.◄

This is just another excuse to nitpick and bash Democrat Liberals!
People that murder are bad, regardless of what ethnic group they come from! Legal or illegal! Crimes are committed every day by all kinds of people!
Saying that 'white people commit crimes, too', is a perfectly legitimate response! What did you want them to say?

On purpose and Intentional mean the same thing, but besides that, you're wrong on both charges.

Just because you people can't handle someone not agreeing with you doesn't mean they're 'missing the point'.

It does, however, mean YOU'RE missing the point.
On purpose and intentionally!

Looks like you just won the prize for stupid question of the day. Was that on purpose or just typical of trolls?

This is one of those loaded con questions. I can tell. :)

But the answer is that Liberals seldom miss the point, while Cons seldom have a point to make.

What was the point you were trying to make about "purpose"? Do you not have any?
