I am a liberal and i am very patriotic so why do they think im a flag burning terrorist because i question our government????? Do they not realize that our Founding fathers were liberals??? they wanted to break away from england so they could have freedom to practice whatever religion they wanted to and also so they could have a government not controled by the church and so they could say whatever they wanted??? The flag and the country both belong to everyone black, white, brown, yellow, muslim, jewish, christian, buddist, republican, democrat, liberal, conservatie, and everyone in between!!!!

I agree. I was born in this country, and my views don't make me any less American than they are. I am entitled to call myself an American, and as an American, I am entitled to my right to speak my mind and to disagree with them. I will not be called unAmerican any more just because I don't lick Bush's butt every five minutes. George W. Bush does not define my country.

I just read a question where some "patriotic" conservative called the Constitution a "suicide pact."

I'm done with those people.

I think we all own this country, and I don't want to give complete control to the government, I think that the American tradition has worked just fine for 200+ years and some things are just sacred..I Love the Nation and my troops.. Just because I choose not to bash and hate my president doesn't mean I am completely in favor or follow of his administration.

Yeah, I agree with your statement completely. To certain extent, its quite true that some conservatives are selfish in its political role and attempt on acting arbitrarily in the US like its their own country.

I just as tired of the Liberals who think they own this land and claim to speak for middle America.

Both sides can be equally wrong.

Isn't it ironic that what was liberal 200 years ago is now considered conservative!

I'm more on the conservative side myself, but I have never questioned someone's patriotism because they lean to the left.

I'm tired of people, no matter if they're conservatives or liberals, telling me I'm flat-out wrong just because I don't believe the same things they do.

Is anyone else tired of Liberal destroying our country.
We are a nation split in two by liberal lies and bickering.
If you hate President Bush so much, please move. Try Iraq for a while. See how free you are there.

You can say what you want. Believe what you want. But you have to admit, there are a lot of libs that do burn the flag and share some pretty anti-American ideals.

They have always owned it. The sad thing is so many of the masses are kissing their arses ( and cutting their neighbor's throats) for the few extra crumbs that they allow to Trickle Down .
