Harry S Truman, what a dumbass, he was able to get the Vice Presidency but he had no idea what to do when FDR died, thanks for putting up this question.

Just make an observation seems like these guys are in the running, Carter and Buchanan. Both are considerably the worse. Carter couldn't figure out Keynesian Economics was a crap and Buchanan made the Civil War happened faster. LBJ would also fit in this category, can anyone say Vietnam on false pretenses?

I'm going iconoclastic, Franklin D. Roosevelt. This guy is amazing. He has so many people like him, yet he was a blatant socialist. FDR is the start of big government. If the government is big enough to give you socialized health care its big enough to take your bill of rights away.

Better yet, FDR's economic intervention programs didn't even work. There is a reason why the 1930s are known to be the Great Depression. If FDR is in there for 8 years and the economy was still sluggish. Also to note, lets face it he dreamed at night in bed in the white house to be a supreme dictator. No great man would ever be president for three terms. You can't no matter what put FDR next to George Washington. Its not even close. Washington is the first man in history that said no i don't want anymore power, I will step down.

Sorry for the long rant, FDR gets under my skin.

Nixon was certainly right up there, but he only messed with his so-called enemies. Bushie has pretty much screwed everyone. And at least Nixon was a smart crook who committed his own sins. Bush is so dumb he needs people like Cheney and Rove to tell him how to be a jerk.

Points or no points, GWB gets my top vote, followed by Nixon and FDR, who turned this country into a welfare state.

That means hanging out more with the creative people, the freaks, the real visionaries, than you're already doing. Thinking more about what their needs are, and responding accordingly. Second place tie goes to Clinton and Carter, one for being morally corrupt and the second for being totally inept. The first prize goes to... (drum roll please)...
Richard Nixon, with his price controls and massive increase to the Federal Government, to his surrender of Vietnam, to Watergate, he is without doubt the person who harmed this country the most.

Woodrow Wilson was a bad one, he gave us the depression, Jimmy Carter was also a bad one, he gave us too much to cite here, but George Bush has to be the worst, he gave us this stupid war, he lost our good standing in the world, and he has devastated the Constitution.
