Hi I was on the depo injection at the time i was 105lbs. I took only two dose which is 6 mnths I realise my weight gain so I went to my doctor who told me the injection wouldnt make me gain weight. I stop immedately I had all the side effects I was hospitalized for headaches caused by depo . My breast got bigger from a 32c to a 38d.
But here it is my question I would love to lose this weight can some one help me by the way I am 175 dat 70lbs in 7mnths calucate 10lbs a mnths

Glad you are off of depo!

Just start eating right and working out and you will slowly see the weight come off.

I was on depo for four years and went to Kariva immediately after depo and my weight is leveling out thank goodness.

you going to have to work it off, ask your gy about a new bc some help lose weight. I had serious side effects from depo also. I was only on it for 6 months(2 injections) I gained about 15lbs, had insane hot flashes and spotting. I also herd since then it has caused women to become sterile.(dont be scared though I got pregnant very shortly after I came off of it)

Depo makes women fat - that is how it is. Every girl I know is is on Depo (minus 1) is really fat. Only one girl didn't gain weight on it. You just need to start exercising and go on a strict diet like weight watchers.

I was on the depo for 3 years. After I coplained to my doctor about the weight gain, he said:

"The depo does not make you GAIN weight, it gives you an APPETITE. YOU control what goes into your mouth. "

and from that day on I stuffed my face with healthy stuff. Kinda.

I have never heard anything good about that damn shot. I gained 70lbs from my daughter and have lost 60lbs now. Taebo kills but works great or if you don't want to really workout that much just watch calories. If your 175 lbs you should look up how many calories you need to maintain that at subtract 500 to lose 2 lbs each week. If you workout and watch calories you will lose it fast but don't listen to the no carb crap if you workout becaues it give you energy to workout. Good Luck!

wear comfortable shoes or keep flats under your desk so you walk more
