things have been happening in my house like the lights and fan in one room are off and on, on their own ( this is a new house)
I kept seeing a figure of man but all black shadow at odd times of the day.
And the freakest thing happen last night ...my husband was woken up because he felt someone was grabbing him by his wrist and pulling him when he open his eyes there was a dark figure of a woman standing over him so he started swating at it ...initally he thought it was me messing with him and turn to see if it was me but i was fast asleep.
HELP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

restless spirits can be hard or easy to deal with. my first instinct would sit and look at the figure and politly tell it "im sorry for what ever happened to you truly i am, but i live in this home now. and my family and i ask that you please move on to the next life" if that doesnt work (cause it will for certian spirits) then my next step would be getting blessed sea salt and put a bowel in every room in the house, open all the windows and take a sage bundle and light it, keep it smoking and walk through out the house, cover every cornor in the house, completly fill it make sure you smudged everything, open closets and everything and do them, this way it will be forced out. take little vials of holy water after wards and put them in every room too to keep things out and purified.
this is all stuff that you can do by yourself or with your husband but if it doesnt fully work, then research the house history and find out what happened to these people, cause obviously they wont leave till something is finished.

You may have a ghost. I had a ghost in my house and it all started like that. At first it was the lights, then it was the T.V. and then the phone started acting up. I spoke with a priest who blessed my house, he said that evil spirits gain power in fear........they sense it. The reason that they use your electronics is because that is the only way they can communicate. They cannot speak on there own.......and the only way they can take human form is by possession........that is very rare though. I say find a high up person in ur religion and have your house blessed. Good luck and you can email me if you need too.

Call TAPS! But honestly, is ok. Beings on the other side most of the time don't want to hurt you. They want your help. Although, pulling at your husband may not be a good sign. Look up some history on your home. Or whatever was on your lot before your home. Tell it to stop. You don't want them hurting you or your husband. There may be some logical reasons like the comment about dreams and faulty wiring..and I think we have all freaked ourselves out before....Just relax and do what you feel needs to be done...
--I didn't say you can only see ghosts at night....so what's up with that? Blah...

The appliances going off and on might be due to a faulty circuit breaker or other electrical anomoly. Have an electrician check your home. Just because it's new, doesn't mean it couldn't have some kind of electrical problem.
As for the dark figures, it could be figments of your imagination, because ghosts don't generally appear during the day.
Your husband could have been dreaming.
I'm not discounting your claims, but often there are logical explanations to unexplainable phenomena. There are many legends about houses being built on graveyards, etc., but these have never been authenticated.

Not entirely sure what help you are looking for, but you describe a type of haunting. It is possible that your home site is built on something, not necessarily a grave, but it could have been settlement from the old days.
not rally an easy solution to this. At least one seems to be malevolent so you need to be careful there. Everything I have watched always says to confront them and assert your position as the living and in possession of your home, not the other way around.

You can have your house blessed by your priest. You can talk to the local historical society to find out the history of the area where you live, and you might be able to find out some stuff at the library. If you are really uncomfortable you can always talk to a paranormal investigator, they will be able to help you determine if and what kind of haunting you have.

you should have those afterlife experts come to your house or something and get an exorsism like that guy said. but 1 question... why would your husband swat at you? my husband was woken up because he felt someone was grabbing him by his wrist and pulling him when he open his eyes there was a dark figure of a woman standing over him SO HE STARTED SWATING AT IT ...initally he thought it was me haa. thats kinda funny.

Get you some Holy water and sprinkle it in your house. You can typically get it from a Catholic priest, or look up Leroy Jenkins.(He sells it.) The best thing I could tell you seriously is pray about it. Like, ask God to get rid of the demons. Whatever you do DON'T go to a Voodoo or Wicca priest/priestess; it causes more problems than it's worth!

wonder why that one person above me thinks you only see ghosts at night, that is stupid, if you believe at all like i do it sounds like you have a problem, a real problem, go this website below and get in contact with these people, they will help you out.........dont mess with it yourself, it could make things worse...........and for you non believers out there, how come just because you dont believe you think it doesnt exist, i have trouble believing in some things i cannot see but that doesnt mean it does not exist good luck

call that one group, TAPS. they have a show on the Sci-Fi channel. look up their website, and look for a phone number or email address. they will bring in video, and sound equipment. they use it to see if your house is really haunted. they also try looking into your houses history. they look to see what if any sounds are coming from. the main two memebers names are Jason, and Grant.
