I just got my oil changed on my 2001 Dodge Neon and was told that my transmission fluid was burnt and needed a transmission flush. Is this true and if so where should I go to get it flushed?

they are right, you will have to find a shop that has a flush machine, call around, also when they flush the system they don't change the tranny filter, I would tell them that you want it changed also.

Any local auto repair shop can do a transmission flush. But, i recommend Pep Boys cuz you get a warranty incase something goes wrong with it. Very Smart.....Good luck!

If you want to check it for yourself, it will smell like burnt toast. Any reputable shop in your area would be good.
