The Spurs will be past their prime (Duncan is already beginning to slow down a bit, and seems satisfied at times to play second fiddle to Tony Parker, or on some nights, Ginobili).

Steve Nash will be in the twilight of his career in a couple more years (he's already got a bad back), and that figures to slow down the Suns.

What do you think??

I'm not so sure about the Warriors, because they rely so much on Baron Davis, and he's VERY injury prone. Also, they don't have J-Rich anymore.

I think the Jazz and Rockets are solid possibilities, but what about the Mavs??

I'm very interested to see how good Bellineli, and Wright can become. I think alot hinges on what they can bring to the court.

The Jazz have a good core of young players who are only getting better.

Sonics or Blazers might lay claim as well, depending on how they build around their big name draftees.

I honestly think with the young core of players that they have, the Warriors will emerge as a dominant team, they will probably lose come down to playoff time due to the lack of rebounding and to some extent defense, but if they can get a dominant big man, they are a lock for many years to come battling both Seattle and Portland.

But if Monta Ellis, Brandon Wright, Andris Biedrins, and Marco Bellineli become consistent, they have a very good chance, also yes Baron is injury prone, but he lost some weight to become lighter and much faster and to avoid injuries.

I know its hard to believe that one teams draft picks will all pan out, but if Greg Oden can live up to some of his hype then the Portland Trailblazers will own. They have been gobbling up young talent and with a core of Roy, Albridge, and Oden watch out!!!!!

in two years, the best team in the west will be the jazz. with jerry sloan as coach, the offense will stay good. two years can make deron williams a star. boozer will be his dominant self. their roster doesn't have the biggest names but all of them play hard.

Simple. The Houston Rockets. They are constantly improving and I think they have a shot at the ring this year.

the Suns still have a legitimate chance. All nash has to do is keep passing and his teammates can finish.
