As long as you do not go to Racine you will be better off. As stated by a previous poster the higher the rent usually the safer the neighborhood. Read the papers find out where the crime is and drive through the neighborhood you are looking at, during the day, and especially at night

Generally speaking, the cheaper the rent the more likely one may reside in the ghetto. If I were you, I would subscribe to the paper online, go to Yahoo Search and look up 'world newspapers'. If you read the newspaper online for a few weeks, you will have a better understanding of where the crime occurs. More over, visit myspace and contact people from that city (you can serach by city and state), they can give you the low down on crime in what communities
