I have been playing this game for a while now and I am suppose to be on my way to Arcades and suppose to go through a cave where I get to a huge door that says "Gate of the Soul Ward". I have been in there before but have died. There are a bunch of little tomatoe heads just like at the beginning of the game, but more than one. They attack then go and hide then they come back and it seems that they have regained their hp. How do I kill all the tomatoe creatures? Can someone help me? Thanks.

target one or two and chase em down they run to regen their hp gotta chase em down with magic/ranged attacks so they cant heal

The Mandragoras, they are definitely a pain! If you are good at chaining quickenings, here is a good strategy, it worked great for me. Cast Dispel on them first. (You may want to cast Dispel with your alternate party, so your main party has full MP). Hold the R2 button and let them chase you until all 5 of them are in a line. Target the center one with a quickening chain. If you can pull off a decent one, you should be able to kill the center one, and seriously injure the rest. Now, take 'em out one by one. Try to do this quickly, because they will scatter to heal themselves. Good luck, these little guys are tricky!
