My friends and I had to turn off Cannibal Holocaust. So gross, shocking, horrible. What about you?

yea passion of the Christ was brutal, the torture scenes were grotesque. I have seen some disgusting movies (Se7en, Silence of the Lambs, etc.) but this was disgusting. I went outside to take a breather, took my dog for a little walk cause I was feeling a little queezy, came back in and finished it off clenching a pillow.

I've never had to turn off a movie because of it being too scary or gross, but I have shut off movies because they are just too boring. Interview with a Vampire, White Noise, The Village and Abandoned all come to mind. They are all equally stupid.

I love horror movies & everybody is probably gonna think I am a wimp, but I had to turn off "The Shining". There was just something when Jack Nicholson started really going crazy that just sank into me deep & I couldn't watch it anymore. But, yet, I was able to watch "The Excorcist" all the way thru. Figure that one out ;-)

I stopped watching 'Memento' in the middle of it because it was making my head hurt and I was a little bit scared of this movie. But now I want to watch it again - I think I quit the movie just because I was up all alone around 2 AM and it was really dark.

Yea, I have done that with a few. I really don't care for the Halloween series, because of the same old song and dance. When, you've seen one mutilation, you've seen them all. I would have to go with the worse movie I have ever seen, is "Dumb and Dumber". I watched about fifteen minutes of that one, and damn near came to puking.

I don't think I've ever turned one off, but I think I did look away on one movie. I can't remember what the name of it was, but it had to be bad for me to look away. I LOVE scary movies!!
