"girls don't join rock bands"

Why would he say that? I thought he was trying to be Mr. Enlightenment/Hippie/New Age? Guess I read his book wrong....

I didn't read the book, but I'm thinking it was to be taken differently. "Girls" don't join rock bands. The key word is girls. I'm thinking that what he is saying is that immature girls don't join rock bands. That free thinking, smart, intellectual women join rock bands. I am positive that he would not have said that in a negative way. He loved Janis Joplin. So that quote can be looked at two different ways, either no girls should join rock bands, or no immature girls should join rock bands.

This is all my opinion, and again I didn't read the book or article in which he said that, but as you know everything can be taken out of context badly.

Hope this helps ease your mind a little!!!!
