I'd like to hear from others who came of age during the 60's in the USA. What is your philosophy of life? What words of wisdom would you like to share with the young people of today?
My philosophy of life is "Go With the Flow." (I know you remember that one from the 60's!) My words of wisdom would be "love and appreciate your family."

I'm 61, and yes the 60's were great, we did come of age. My Philosophy today is appreciate everything you have worked for, above all, appreciate your family, you worked the hardest for them. Get up each day with a smile, and thank God for letting you be a product that grew up in the 50's, in the age of innocence, and then come of age in the decadent 60's. My words of wisdom come from a country song...."If you want to see God laugh, tell him YOUR plans"

If I don't think I will remember something I write it down. Sometimes I look back at my 60's journals and wonder if I should keep them for a laugh or burn them. Live for the day!

I can't change the world I can only change myself so remember...I'm not responsible for the whole world. God is and He can handle it.
Words of wisdon: Accept life on life's terms .Know that trivial problems and inconvenienes will prevail in life.
Choose to enjoy it in spite of them. Life is short.

The purpose of life is to learn unconditional love for all people, and to become one with the eternal family, which we all are. Live for it!

rofl......... I was young in the 60's , but I do remember, the *live and live* thing...... I think that was from the 60's ??? or was it ??? geeeeeee, I'm getting old...... ahhhhhhh, but the 70's, now there was a generation !!!!! rofl...........God bless
