Yes,in fact i got my pilot's license when i was only 15,a strange anomaly of state law since you have to be 16 to drive a car. Took cheap lessons from a crop duster. It was a Piper Cub.

Yes, I got addicted when I dated a girl from Mississippi,
her Dad was an airline pilot. Was a savior for a long distance relationship....... loved it ever since! It's really great flyin' a small plane along the coast!! You would be surprised at what you can see........ Sometimes huge Ray's the size of 3 or 4 cars if they were sitting side by side......or bigger. Can only judge by looking at the cars,
trucks, ect. parked on the beach..lol have a GREAT DAY!

Yes, both in an airplane and without! Arms got very tired after about 5 miles.

First plane I flew in, Orville had to make room for me. Well almost as bad. It had two rows of seats facing the middle, was a prop job. Flew from San Diego to Portland Oregon. Long, long flight. I was just just a little guy too.
