Is the engine turning over, i.e. trying to start. If not, first place to look is the battery.
If it's trying to turn over, i.e. the starter motor is working, then the next question is if it's getting gasoline.
If it's getting gasoline, is it getting spark?
Basically that covers it.

Is your battery dead? Maybe you just need a boost...
Could also be that you need to have the starter replaced.
There could be 100 other reasons as well.
