I come from a family of six kids, my mom work a full time job and no she never remained us to brush our teeth, but I know when I finally relize I needed to brush and take care of my teeth. I was in the 6th grade and I found a note a girl in my class had wrote to another girl, and in that note she mention how yellow my teeth look. I was so embarrassed that after school I went home and brush my teeth over and over. Well it took a little time but eventually my teeth began to become whiter. Today people always comment on what a beautiful smile I have. So thanks to that girl in 6th grade , she help me strive to have good oral hygiene, I'm so glad I found that note and I was nosey and read it. Thank you girl in 6th grade.

LOL yes and I do the same with my children, not because my mom did it but because I did not brush regularly and have very bad teeth, and I do not want my children to suffer as I did.
