I think today's generation are discovering how much of a talent The King really was.

He has the most incredible voice I have ever listened to. Elvis still gives me goose bumps when I listen to certain songs he sang.

Elvis is alive today, just look around you he is everywhere on TV, CD, DVD.

Elvis was the most influential entertainer of the 20th and 21st century

I'm listening right now to a collection of his songs on Yahoo Music. I've never been an avid fan, but don't have anything against him.

This music is very good. That warm intimacy of his voice was part of his magic. I'm discovering a lot of great music that I've never heard before.

People might say he stole black music but what he did was take different kinds of music (R&B, C&W, gospel) and create something completely original.

I'm just sorry he didn't live past his Vegas phase and turn into a solid middle-aged singer who would have kept finding new, more mature ways to express his art. And I think he would have continued to grow, and win over new generations, just like Tony Bennett has done.

Well I can promise you he didn't live a good Christian life. However, God has mercy on us. I remember Elvis and telling my mother that he'd died and she thought I was on a sugar buzz! If he was still alive today, he'd probably be sitting next to Dick Clark every New Year's Eve doing the countdown, and then he'd be taking over Celine Dion's missed performances in Vegas. Who knows, maybe him and Ciller would have gotten back together. One can wish!

he was very handsome in his younger years.I remember the news on tv of his death and my mom crying.so sad,but if he were alive today,I agree with the other answer,he would be next to Dick Clark doing the count down.I also think he would still be breaking hearts and doing alot of kissing and telling!!He would probaly be the most photographed in the tabloids that's for sure!
