Women of all sizes can get away with a lot provided they buy the correct size and cut. Baby doll shirts included. Bigger ladies can even do low rise jeans, but size is key. There's nothing wrong with showing some skin, as long as it isn't pouring over your waist band creating a muffin top or squeezing out of the sides of a bra.

Well, if they have a muffin top, no way. However there are many girls who are not plus size and just don't know how to wear proper fitting jeans with this problem and it is still a fashion no no.
If they fit right, go for it. Plus sized women could wear anything as long as it fits correctly. That goes for any size.

Baby doll tops are awfully cute; but anyone wearing one runs the risk of looking pregnant. This is especially true for those of us with "fuller figures". I'd say, it all really depends on the individual top. Try a few on and you'll soon see which ones work for you and which ones will make people say, "Congratulations! When are you due?"
Good luck! :D

Well I wear them sometimes and I'm curvy. But actually today a girl I know was wearing one. I hadn't seen her in a while and I totally thought she was pregnant. She's a little on the big side but she is not pregnant. Just try it on, some are cute and some might make a person look bigger or pregnant.

Yes, the loose fabric over the mid section helps to create a slimmer silohouette. They look fabulous on plus size women.

Just depends on if the person wearing them feels comfortable with it. Just because they make clothes in that size, does not mean that you will not look ridiculous in them. It is like a flat chested chick trying to wear a backless top.....just cause they make it!!

Not to wear, because it can make them look pregnant when they're not. Best thing to do is to wear a top with seams to cinch the waist. Elongated tunics look alot better, its gives an optical illusion of slender tall body.

I'm a plus size and I like them.
I can see why, if you were pregnant you wouldn't want to, you might have just gotten out of that style.
Larger women need stylish clothes and even if they aren't going to look like their thinner sisters in them, if they find the right cut, neither too big nor too tight, it should look acceptable. I find skinny girls not served too well with the look, you need some curves to fill it out, otherwise it hangs like a dishrag.
