Why would I want a smell, dirty, highly destructive monkey running around and destroying things. Plus they are strong and dangerous. A human home is not a place for a chimp.

I wouldn't want a leopard, crocodile, boa constrictor, wolf, or tiger or any other animal that is a danger to me, my domesticated pets, or others either. I don't even think I want a pit bull terrier as a pet.

No. They smell bad and they can easily kill you.

Quoting from the link below, regarding an attack by his pet chimp: "Davis, who remained in critical condition Friday, was badly disfigured. According to his wife, he lost all the fingers from both hands, an eye, part of his nose, cheek and lips, and part of his buttocks. His foot was mutilated and his heel bone was cracked."

lol...well my bf keeps going on and on about how if you fight a chimp they rip off a man's nads and run with them then throw them....

so I think owning a chimp might make my bf stop being such a jackass!
