I am having my 20 year reunion next week at a restaurant on the beach, along the PCH. They say to wear dressy summer attire. What is that exactly.

Oooh, Dress Barn has some nice summer dresses. One of mine is white with a halter-top and blue embroidery with eyelet trim on the bottom.I bought two of them there. My 10th reunion is next week, and I'd wear mine, except we're having a picnic at a park, and I'm bringing my 3 small children, so a white dress isn't going to work.

If you have the looks (er, shape). A tube dress is nice. Dressy and very summer-ish. Light colors / pastels. A classy necklace and maybe a watch/bracelet. Anklets are nice in the summer too.

Depending on what stores are around you, find a nice contemporary men's shop and check out the window. You'll get some great ideas. Unless it's formal, suits are not necessary. Also, keep it simple so you don't look like you are trying hard to define yourself. Have fun!

dressy summer attire means like a nice dress but not a gown or anything and some comfortable flat shoes you wouldn't want to wear heels or anything like that

Try a sundress and cover it with a great wrap, shawl or sweater. Top off with a great upswept hairstyle and simple but elegant jewellry.
Just a word of advice....you need to look sexy without looking trashy....and don't try to roll back 20 years...so select an appropriate dress.
(If you have any doubts take a friend with you when you go try them on)

Okay, so I would wear something nice, but summer looking, like a nice white or yellow dress. Do your hair nicely and some sandals, maybe high heels if you like them.

A long bright colored halter style dress with killer shoes. A summer version of the little black dress. Make sure you feel comfortable and no matter what you will shine! Have fun!

I would say something with out shoulders or with only spaghetti straps. Thin material,silky or gauzy. Dressy sandals.

I would wear a nice summer dress - stick with light colors as it has been pretty warm lately and a strappy sandal. :) Have fun!!! What school is it for?
