Yes.
My own father was just like this. So you could say I had a bit of a head start, in terms of asking these sorts of questions *early*.
And....in the past two, three years or so, my hometown of Champaign has become a *LOT* like this. I can't even walk down some streets in my own neighborhood to go send off some mail, get groceries, without a bunch of loudmouth *punks* doing the drive-by, shouting obscene things at me from the safety of their trucks and SUVs that their *daddies* bought them.... o_o
And don't even talk to me about how people act on the bus, ok? I have to use mass transit because the medications I've been on have screwed up my coordination, I can't drive. And yet....more and more, folks are just plain hateful on the bus.
And why is it that half the time, when I go shopping for groceries, the people working the cash registers are either a) barely able to understand English, b) half-retarded, or c) both?
Man.....I dunno. -_- I asked a Question recently, in light of the recent finds concerning a primitive species of mankind, Homo Erectus....and basically, it does still have me wondering.
Are we all Homo Sapiens here? Are we really all "thoughtful" the way our species name implies? Or do we still have a *ton* of throwbacks running around who sort of *pass* for human from a distance, but never learned how to *act* in civilized company?
(and before you say I'm a bigot....I actually get *more* crap from my own kind, from so-called "white people" than I do from almost *anyone* else, just so we are clear)
But yeah....I hear you. -_- I just wish I knew what to *do* about it. Just sitting here complaining doesn't help, you know?
Thanks for your time. ^_^ I hope the rest of your day goes well!

An old lady ran over my foot with her grocery cart at the store. This happens to me all the time. But they always apologize and feel so bad yadda yadda. So this old bat rolls over my foot and does not even say excuse me! I said "You're excused". And she had the nerve to roll her eyes and suck her teeth! I know I might be wrong, but I was so ticked off because I had on a crispy pair of white sneakers. So I did what your typical ***** would do. I told the security guard of the store I thought she was stealing and laughed my *** of when she was stopped on the way out to have her bags searched!!!

I think that kind of behavior is becoming more common, as people's interpersonal skills are falling apart. I blame technology, people aren't as used to communicating face to face after the rise of conference calls, emails, text messages, etc. Common courtesy has gone out the window.

yep, all the time, I'm about ready to move to the middle of no where and live with the animals, at least they aren't A'holes that suck the life out of you only wanting something from ya instead of liking you for who you are. The world is full of users and people who only think of themselves.

No-- no random person could sink to any depth that would surprise me. My opinion of the human race is that it's pit of ugliness potential is bottomless. People occasionally surprise the hell out of me with acts of goodness. No one ever surprises me with acts of badness.

Yes. My ex-girlfriend. She was very evil...she claimed to be a good Christian...I was the heathen atheist, but I was the respectful one. I'm so glad she's gone.

That happened to me at freshmen year in college....This guy was such a jerk sometimes. If I hadn't been thinking straight, I would have had to kick his ***.
