With the current list standing at this
Mike Gravel born in 1930
Joe Biden born in 1942
Christopher Dodd born in 1944
Dennis Kucinich born in 1946
Bill Richardson born in 1947
Hillary born in 1947
John Edwards born in 1953 and
Barack Obama born in 1961

Now the Democratic party has their list of old guys who are just as much good ol' boy network right w/ the Republican old guys. However the front runners also happen to be the 3 youngest.

Hillary definitely looks a lot younger than Kerry & Lieberman did in their race (despite at the campaign, ages were close).

Edwards (pathetic as he is & I pray the DNC doesn't pick him and his lack of voting rec) is over 5 years younger. Barak Obama is the baby, not even 40 years old.

A large chunk of Hillary and Obama's chances rest on how many younger voters turn out. The lowest percentage of eligible voters that vote are those of us in that 18-25, and they need 18-35 year old turnout to beat baby boomer's old fashioned ways.

SO what do you think? Do you think the younger candidates will get younger voters to turn out in greater percentage than previous elections?

I hadn't thought about it, but you may be on to something there. I think voting this time will appeal more to younger voters because of younger candidates.

I will give the low down about Obama and you may not like it but if you follow the links to the policitco.com articles and read it all you will not like or trust Obama.
He is the biggest liar on the campaign trail.
1.. He used an innocent man in Iowa to get free new and his PR people lied to keep the spin going. This man is a Armenian Physicist here doing some work with some of the most important programs for Universities and the Government. And he was helping a friend in Cincinnati Ohio out with his novelty card business when Obama used him read the links.

2. He is not a Christian as you will not find one Muslim saying a word about his so called conversation from Islam. You can convert to Islam but not away as it is called a fatwa or to us a death sentence. No one word about this.

3. He stated he would invade Pakistan who is an alley on terrorism and barely holding on with eh Islamic extremist there. Which was done by Obama to destabilize this country that has a nuke and I will add the only Muslim country that does. Why would he do this even Hillary knows this is very bad.

4. He last week said he would never use the Nuke which was a signal that if he wins that they the Islamic terrorist who wishes us all to be dead can do it and he will not act. Id this what you want for a president? No look at what Turkey did to Christians and they will end all of the things you love on the left as we are all infidels to them and the left here is satin itself.

Keep dreaming on that. I think we should stop worrying about how many we get to the polls and rather look towards the quality of voters coming to the polls. I don't know about you, but I don't want sheep voting.

I think younger voters will have a positive affect on the election. I dont know if it will make a difference but it will be a positive effect.

if barack was born in 1961 it means he is over 40 years old. you need to check you math

also, young voters are the least active. they may change, but don't see them (18-24) out voting any of the other age demographics.

well I think you should relearn how to do math. Obama would be 46 if he was born in 1961.

I don't think age is an issue in terms of candidates.
