With the current list standing at this
Mike Gravel born in 1930
Joe Biden born in 1942
Christopher Dodd born in 1944
Dennis Kucinich born in 1946
Bill Richardson born in 1947
Hillary born in 1947
John Edwards born in 1953 and
Barack Obama born in 1961
Now the Democratic party has their list of old guys who are just as much good ol' boy network right w/ the Republican old guys. However the front runners also happen to be the 3 youngest.
Hillary definitely looks a lot younger than Kerry & Lieberman did in their race (despite at the campaign, ages were close).
Edwards (pathetic as he is & I pray the DNC doesn't pick him and his lack of voting rec) is over 5 years younger. Barak Obama is the baby, not even 40 years old.
A large chunk of Hillary and Obama's chances rest on how many younger voters turn out. The lowest percentage of eligible voters that vote are those of us in that 18-25, and they need 18-35 year old turnout to beat baby boomer's old fashioned ways.

SO what do you think? Do you think the younger candidates will get younger voters to turn out in greater percentage than previous elections?
