I would give up my telly because I can still watch show on my computer and play music and go on the internet.

i have not owned a telly for 7 years now. I only watch it when i have no other choice (at a bar or someone else's house etc)

It's ok honey. Anyway, I will give up on the television as in years to come, everything will be on either PCs or Palm-tops for us to watch our favourite movies or channels. Technology is on a high these days, so I don't see a need on televisions.

i don't have a telly..haven't for the past 5 years. i am, however, a graphic designer. so this is kind of a no-brainer. no computer, no money.

Gave up the TV years ago except for watching DVD's.
You don't keep opening the garbage can and smelling it do you ? Both are about equal in content...
