I totally was - I used to suck my thumb and had total bucked teeth...thank god for braces! I have changed so much in so many ways physically and mentally. But I don't really care to show myself off to people that were mean to me when I was young because their opinions may have mattered then but they sure as hell don't matter now :)!

Haha yes i was. i went through a very akward stage. I was gangly, had a horrible layered hair cut, buck teeth and didn't grow into my features. Today, I thankfully am no longer an ugly duckling (got braces, matured, got a new style). I am now a confident, young woman and (i know it's cliche) but it's the inside that matters. Also to any of you duckies out there...you might get the last laugh so don't let anyone bring you down =)

Yes, I was an ugly duckling...as for "beautiful swan," I don't know about that, but I'm definitely better-looking than I was in high school. I have had the ultimate joy of seeing about 5 guys who wouldn't go out with me in high school recently, and this was their opening line, "WOW, you look great!" Suckers...

When I was younger I always felt like the ugly duckling. When I got out of school and went to work for the first time, it simply amazed me how many men came on to me. At my first class reunion I had 3 different guys come up to me and tell me they had a crush on me in school. I guess I was just very insecure.

yea, i was the ugly duckling, but i have become a beautiful swan in all my friends eyes. and i would like to show the people who have mocked me before and show them how hot i am, but they have already seen it and treat me the same way (totaly dork) because of the people i hang out with. and i'm totally cool with tht because i have friends who love me, and my best friends are pretty much the most popular people in the school, meaning everyone knows who they are and they are super nice. two girls and 1 guy. i miss the guy so much, because he is so cute, and i havent seen him since the day before we all went on xmas break because i was moving to a different school. i dont even think i got to say bye to him, but i think my friend told him i was moving, and he sang me a song. :)

Definitely. I was harassed, teased, ridiculed, and beat on for it. In some ways, I'm still an ugly duckling. But that super hot girl I went to school with that made fun of me the most, she is 120 pounds over weight and has a platoon of children.
She whines to my brother how she wishes she could talk to me more. Whatever! I have a princess in my life. I've no need for a lowly peasant like her.
Other girls, turned out relatively the same.
What makes me incredibly ugly to others is the way I stand up for myself and bow to no one. I don't suck up, lie to fit in, bow to no one, conform to rules meant for the weaker more obedient ones of the human race. I'm very open-minded and take no crap from anyone.
By death I will stand up for my wife and children. No one else.

Haha true story: the doctor's thought I was slow and I was born with eyes that slanted upwards, so everyone thought that I was going to be an ugly "special" kid. It turned out that I got better looking, and I have a very bright mind. Funny how fate likes to toy with us and then us reward later on.

I was like that until I got to Middle School and then I became a much nicer person in High School which a lot of women were attracted to.

I was so that ugly ducking! lol.
When I finally met up with an old friend from hs after years of not seeing him, he didn't even recgonize me!
I also ran into an old classmate from middle school, he used to be so mean to me and made me cry. when he saw me, he kept asking for my number. He was really good looking too but I said no.
Yeah, I would love to rub it in to my old high schoolers. They were really mean to me.

Actually, quite the opposite. I was, by all accounts, a beautiful child. Now, I'd snag lightnin' on a clear day.
