Interesting things you learn over at Ripley's Believe It Or Not:

Over in feudal England, woman who were accused of spreading gossip were forced to wear a metal mask that looked like a pig and dragged around town. Repeated gossiping women had their tongues ripped out so they can never spread rumors again.

Over in old China, lying was considered a capital crime so liars were often put to death. How? They were chained around a heating oven until they were pretty much slowly burned to death.

Wouldn't it be neat if we had these laws installed again? LMAO

I agree that such ideas would be AWESOME!!!!! It would put an end to a lot of trouble in the world, since that is what those kind of people create.

You have full faith in those who carry out the law huh! Do you know how many innocent people will pay with their lives while the real guilty will go free? First clean up the justice system that allows so many hard core criminals to walk free before you talk about awarding horrible death punishments to petty liars and gossip mongers!!!

There are worse crimes than that. People should find ways to put a stop to those before anything else. And the Ripley's thing is inhumane the way I see it

But yeah I agree liars are annoying
