Over in feudal England, woman who were accused of spreading gossip were forced to wear a metal mask that looked like a pig and dragged around town. Repeated gossiping women had their tongues ripped out so they can never spread rumors again.
Over in old China, lying was considered a capital crime so liars were often put to death. How? They were chained around a heating oven until they were pretty much slowly burned to death.
Wouldn't it be neat if we had these laws installed again? LMAO
