Not sure if anyone has personal experience with my problem or may know a great place to look into this. I live in Missouri and have only recently moved here. My problem is where I live the parking is horrendous! It angers me because I live in a building that has four town houses. We have been here the longest and all three of our new neighbors have been here a month or so. Well, in front of our building are six parking spaces for the four homes. This one new couple (who have only one car for the two of them) have friends over every weekend (sometimes week days) and will take up three of the six spaces and we (my and my boyfriend) as well as the other neighbors (who we've spoken to about this) have to park across the street! I don't know if there is a law that I can have them towed or if I can confront the manager about this. Is there a law on having parking rights? Since we moved in the managers have said, Oh we'll mark everyone a personal spot, etc but nothing has happened! Any ideas?

Have you talked to these neighbors and have them ask their friends to park in the street? That's the simple solution.

Next step, if that doesn't work, is to talk to the landlord and have him take care of it. He'd be able to call the police/tow service to remove cars when needed.

You definitely need to consult with the management about this issue. Ask if there is an HOA ruling concerning parking or if there can be assigned parking spaces in which case you would have the legal right to the space providing there was a clearly visible sign designating your space.

There are no such laws. It is something you will just have to deal with. I have lived in a condo community for 18 years, with assigned parking spaces. Some ignorant rubes are always parking in my spaces. I got over being angry about it a long time ago.

There's no state law on parking rights. Speak to the people who are hogging all the spots and see if you can work something out with them.
