My boyfriend and I have been ttc since February and I've been taking vitex off and on in the hopes that it would regulate my cycle and help move 'things' along. The first time I took it for an extended amount of time, my period was late 3 weeks! I stopped taking it and got my period very soon thereafter. My cycles have been somewhat regular (with just a couple of day's fluxuation), so I decided to start taking Vitex again because I feel that my ovulation period is a little out of whack. Now here we are again, I am about 4-5 days late. Does anyone else have this sort of experience with Vitex or is it just me? This is really frustrating, because I've heard really good things about Vitex and I wouldn't mind being one of the 'success stories'.

I have talked to a few women who have said they are very pleased with Vitex. It sounds like your body is trying to adjust to going back on this medication. I would recommend getting in touch with your doctor to have them evaluate the situation further to see what they say.
